igshidAn Instagram share identifier added when a link is copied or shared out of the app. It ties the share back to the session that produced it. Purely tracking; the link works without it.
Safe to remove? Yes. igshid is used for tracking and reporting only — deleting it does not change the page you land on. Strip it before sharing a link to keep it clean and private.
