li_fat_idLinkedIn's first-party ad tracking identifier. When you click a sponsored post or ad on LinkedIn, it appends li_fat_id to the destination so the advertiser's LinkedIn Insight Tag can match that click to a later sign-up or purchase. It's the professional-network equivalent of fbclid or gclid — pure attribution metadata that the landing page never actually needs.
Safe to remove? Yes. li_fat_id is used for tracking and reporting only — deleting it does not change the page you land on. Strip it before sharing a link to keep it clean and private.
