vgo_ee

🏢 ActiveCampaign🏷️ Email marketing

What it is

An encoded recipient identifier ActiveCampaign adds to links in its emails so a click — and everything you do afterward on the site — can be tied to you specifically as a known subscriber. Like Mailchimp's mc_eid, it can de-anonymise whoever opens the link, so it's wise to strip it before pasting an email link anywhere public.

Safe to remove? Yes. vgo_ee is used for tracking and reporting only — deleting it does not change the page you land on. Strip it before sharing a link to keep it clean and private.
